Camp Lohikan is a traditional coed overnight camp on 1,200 acres in the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania, where campers ages 6-15 choose from 65+ daily sports, arts, and adventure activities. The eight-week season runs from late June through August, with enrollment options for 2, 4, 6, or the full 8 weeks. Family-run since 1957, it features a private lake and forested mountain setting and draws campers from across the U.S. and abroad.

★★★★★Natasha SnobarMy son attended Camp Lohikan for a four week session in 2025 as a first-time attendee, I wanted to share our story for other families that may be considering it. Overall, he had a great experience, the camp really does have a beautiful property and many activities to try. My son did everything from learning how to canoe, to getting a high score in archery, to driving an ATV! He made close friends with his cabin mates and his description of his cabin counselors was very positive. He definitely wants to come back in 2026. As for negatives, the food was only ok, but he was fed. He was disappointed there was no sailing as that was something he wanted to do, maybe they just weren’t able to run it this summer. They do have plenty of things to do there, however! They also have a bunch of fun events throughout the session. All in all, our family recommends Lohikan and it delivered a summer camp experience that was beneficial for my son.

I was so impressed with the Facility when we dropped her off (give yourself a couple of hours for drop off) It's an absolutely beautiful property. All the counselors were so friendly and seemed really happy to be there. I was worried that she would have a hard time being left alone with no contact with us. I got a call 5 days into the session that she is begging to extend her camp stay for another 2 weeks. I was unable to extend her stay but we have already signed her up for a moth this upcoming summer. She was so sad to leave and still talks to her camp friends all the time. Her only complaint was that the food wasn't all that great, the rest was just perfect. We love Camp Lohikan! I'm fully confident Camp this summer will be the BEST month of her life.
