My Grandmother Nancy, my mom and I all got to go to camp at Camp Lake Hubert. My mom and sibling and I all went to family camp at Camp Lincoln around 1992. I loved being able to try different things I probably wouldn't have gotten to try otherwise, like archery

Although my daughter had a great time, for the price and reputation, I expected more. For one, there were mice in the cabin (that even ate through her bedding) and she expressed to me it was so hard to sleep hearing them scurrying and scratching around. Secondly, the staff was not very diligent on returning emails; especially so regarding my daughter getting swimmers itch (which means one or both of their lakes are contaminated with parasites... Which can actually be corrected by doing treatments). I wasn't even told by staff that my daughter had swimmer's itch (she told me herself through a letter). It was very shocking to have her come home still in discomfort and itching because I had asked them to notify me if she had it longer than 3 days so I could get a prescription from her doctor (she had it for over a week and a half by the time she came home). She definitely had a great time, made tons of friends and wants to go back but I will be hesitant to send her back based on our first experience.

I went when I was a kid for 3 summer and loved it SO much. The counselors were amazing and there were so many fun activities to choose from. I am seriously considering becoming a counselor here for the summer just to relive my childhood and help other children have the best time! 10/10 would highly recommend!!!

We have been so pleased and impressed by our kids' experiences at Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert. It is a wonderful place for kids to get off their phones and tablets and enjoy making friends and learning new skills. There is truly something for everyone - from sailing and crafts to archery and orienteering. They run a tight ship and provide excellent communication with parents before, during and after camp. I wish I had gone as a child myself!

There’s not enough space or time for me to describe all of the positive things I’d like to say about Camp Lincoln! Our son just returned from a fabulous four weeks there. Obviously, he had a wonderful time and he enjoyed the opportunity to do many amazing activities and meet people from, literally, around the world. But it’s not just the activities that made me so happy about the experience our son had at Camp Lincoln. Really, it’s the people who run the place. They took really good care of our son. The are organized and they know what they are doing. I called many times before, during, and after camp to ask questions and every time I was more impressed after speaking to the staff. The experience our son had is well worth the money we spent! There’s no doubt about that. A special thank you to the health center and especially to Wendy in the office. We will be back next year.
