Overnight Christian camp on 42.5 acres of East Texas piney woods, operated by a 501(c)(3) home-missions ministry near Oakwood (east of I-45 between Dallas and Houston). Week-long sessions for campers in grades 3-12 center on Bible study, memorization, services, and cabin devotions. Outdoor activities include archery, riflery, fishing, land navigation, fire starting, and group games.

The preachers brought in for summer camp always an incredible job relaying the Word of God in a way that is applicable to the hearts of the campers. The staff is attentive to the needs of each camper, the food is incredible, and there are always fun things to fill in the in-between time. Besides yearly summer camps, they also host many other fun events for various groups, such as ladies' retreats, men's retreats, young adult retreats, retreats for the deaf and more. I highly recommend giving them a try for your next church event!
