Camp Kinderland is a secular Jewish overnight camp for youth ages 8-16 on Colebrook River Road in Tolland, founded in 1923 with a social-justice mission it calls 'summer camp with a conscience.' Programming weaves themes of equality, peace, community, civil rights, activism, Yiddish culture, and friendship into traditional camp activities. Campers can attend a four-week July session, three-week August session, all seven weeks, or a two-week intro session for the youngest first-timers.
