Really strange experience. The majority of the lights were off, there was no AC running in the unit, and none of the staff seemed to be attending to clients. I did speak with the owner, and while she was kind, the rest of the staff were disengaged and off-putting. Overall, I would not feel comfortable recommending this place for your child.

We save all year to send my son to camp 3 weeks out of the Summer. It's a huge expense for our modest means but so worth it. The camp grounds are nothing fancy and everything wonderful! There's a pool, a lake, watercraft, a rec room/cafeteria, a covered basket ball court, barracks, and more. It's in a heavily wooded area for a true escape from a world not created for him. The staff are simply angels. They take such great care of my son and make sure everyone has a blast! My son, born 1997, was diagnosed with autism and an intellectual disability. He's been attending this camp since about the age of 16 and looks forward to attending every year. He even saves his allowance to help with the cost 😃. So happy to find a space that he enjoys so very much 🥰

We attended as part of a weekend retreat from members of my church. It was fantastic! Super fun for kids of all ages. It caters to special needs children and young adults and their families. My niece loved it we swam at the pool, watched people canoe on the lake, and ate hot dogs. Highly recommend visiting when it’s open to the public

Our church youth group attended Camp Journey for 5 days. The staff was so friendly and had the best attitudes. The owner, Suzette, was down to earth and also very personable and friendly. She was always smiling too. The staff was very attentive and inclusive when working with the Special Needs campers as well as our campers. The property was very clean and everything at camp was close and accessible. Our campers loved kayaking at the lake and swimming at the pool. The cabins were great and the bathrooms were amazing!! We had a wonderful experience here and hope to be back again!!

good camp Johnny The staff is pretty good the volunteers they go out here they do a good job to young good hands. They If you go to this camp it’s a good special-needs camp. You can send your kids to all adults with disabilities. Everybody’s welcome here. I will far away, but this is my this is this is the camp I always go to
