Camp JIM - the name stands for 'Jesus Is Mine' - is a non-denominational Bible camp on 40 acres on Hardy Lake in Pillager, nine miles west of Brainerd. It runs multiple summer camps split by age group for children entering 1st through 12th grade, alongside year-round retreat ministry for youth, families and adults. Rev. Arnold Frei founded the camp in 1932 with the aim of making it affordable regardless of income, and it moved to the current Pillager site in 1937.

My husband and I went to a marriage retreat at Camp JIM. We had never been there before , and found that the staff was kind and helpful and the speaker was good.Cabins are clean and have a bathroom in them! What a nice place. We really enjoyed the retreat and are hoping, God willing to go back

Well organized camp. Comfortable bunk beds in all rooms. Huge industrial kitchen. Beautiful, setting on a small lake amid pine 🌲 🌳 forest.

Great camp centered on teaching about Jesus and God's Word. Enjoyed spending the week here as my church rented out the camp and had a blast on the lake and during all the games/activities. They are currently getting the old concrete steps to the lake replaced, which will be very nice when completed.
