Camp Invention is a national STEM day-camp program run by the National Inventors Hall of Fame, hosted locally at a North Canton school site. Children entering kindergarten through sixth grade rotate through hands-on modules built around inventing, engineering and creative problem-solving; the 2026 theme adds forensic science, ocean discovery and terraforming activities. Sessions run one week during the day, with early-registration discounts and payment plans.

That is saying a lot, because each year she has had a wonderful experience. The ratio of camp advisers to campers is excellent, with each child getting plenty of one-on-one attention, but still having the chance to work independently. They have middle and high school helpers also, and they are great with the elementary school I also think it is a great idea to have older children working with the younger elementary school children. It was also easy to talk to my daughter about what she did each day because of the daily review sheet that was give to the parents. As a whole, I have found the staff helpful and informative, they even send out daily newsletters. With kids getting out of school in late May this is a great camp to transition into summer, by bridging the "fun" and "STEM" and SUMMER. Great Job!
