Powered by GoogleMy daughter is on the spectrum, high functioning. She truly enjoyed a week long resident camp. It is not strictly regimented. Each camper gets to participate in what they like without being forced to participate as a group. Each afternoon there is "downtime" in their cabins. Cabins are very clean and very nice...not all unfinished and rustic like some camps. They are allowed electronics and cell phones at certain times of the day. Highly recommend!!!
My 10 year old with cerebral palsy loved it here! He had so much fun and made friends! He can't wait to go back!
Our son just came back from his first summer camp experience and he is still all smiles! Any worries leaving him overnight we’re quickly alleviated seeing their attention to detail, level of communication, and genuine connection with the children in their care! I was so impressed with the amazing camp staff and volunteers and am so thankful to Camp Idewilde for an amazing experience. We can’t wait to return!!!
Our son just loves this camp! He feels safe and loved. He has his calendar marked for the next session. I’m so thankful for this chance to make new friends and gain independence. The team constantly communicate with us parents while our kiddos are at camp, which is a huge plus.
We hosted a camp at Camp Idlewild during this Thanksgiving break and it could not have been better. The kids had a great time at this beautiful facility and the food was amazing we will definitely be back next year. Thank you again for a great experience Steinbrenner wrestling
