This was a great camp! My friend had his birthday and the counselors were really nice to him. 5 stars definitely recommend I went to creek that was so fun there’s a rope swing so cool. Only kinda annoying part is your cabin members they always do weird stuff but it’s fine the mud pit is so big I love it. Stan and brother Fabian are so nice to campers unless they are being dumb lol Stan’s smokehouse is so good he makes really good meat I love eating it on Thursday nights the only thing I don’t like a lot is the obstacle course other people might I just don’t really but yeah this camp is good I love the preacher he is so nice he did story on Sampson and he did it really well. 5 stars i definitely recommend!!!!!❤️ also the water situation is kinda bad but it’s fine it’s from water that comes out of a pipe

It’s a great camp! It’s really fun and there are really nice sermons and there are 2 a day! I also really like the exercise you can get from it. Although I wish there was something done about the bathhouse shower curtains, the curtains just blow away in the wind and that’s not good :/ The creek is awesome! But there are a lot of kids skipping rocks right where people tube down, there are also people trying to baptize people in the creek, and trying to drown them /: the only reason it’s not five stars is because the amount of kids there that are genuinely so unsaved is bad, I know it’s not camp hosanna’s fault but just be warned if you are planning on going.

one of the counselors got up in my face and told me if i did not put my phone away (i have it for medical conditions, which they were aware of) they would confiscate it. they are not medically equipped or well versed on children with health conditions. i was not allowed to call my mom. had to sneak away to call her and got yelled at for doing so. If you guys want to have a successful camp, please educate yourself on teenagers with medical conditions. Also did not give us any water throughout the day except for maybe 5 minutes every 3-4 hours. I have POTS and i could’ve passed out without water. Do NOT attend here if you have medical conditions or have to have your phone for any reason. You will get yelled at and reprimanded.

I was 11 when I came here, And I definitely don't know how much they've changed, but what I'm hearing in the review section. Not really much, when I was there from day one it felt really uncomfortable from someone who suffers from anxiety and depression at a young age it was hard for me to go and not talk to my mom and have these things happen. Which them. Furthermore, I am about to explain, they told us at the end of the camp that there is a mud hole pond thing that they've made. It's basically just filled with a whole bunch of watery mud keep that in mind. The whole week was basically just a nightmare from injuries and bug bites and everything else and none of the really staff or anybody cared, we would wake up every morning to go to church and everything really early in the morning. Weren't they were very strict on dress code whether you're young or not. They believe that you should have been dressed with shorts below your knees or right at your knees, which is really hard to find in any women's clothing, especially for younger girls You weren't allowed to really wear anything like tank tops or anything that are normal summer wear would be and they didn't really give us any kind of information about the dress code until we really got there. They gave us some certain information but not all the things they were complaining about. I remember I wore a pair of shorts that was past my fingertips and got yelled at and and told they were going to give me a random pair of men's shorts to go wear And at 11yr old I didn't understand what I was wearing was somehow wrong... And for little o events or anything like that that you needed to dress nice You were getting judged on what you were wearing or to told to go change... They also have just one huge bathroom. One sides for the girls. One sides are the boys and the amount of people that were there. There was no time to get a shower and go to the restroom. We were timed and how long we could take a shower and it couldn't be over 5 minutes which I get. There's a lot of kids but that's not going to do with you any well... And from the activities and kids getting hurt and nobody really caring it gets worse from here at night time. I need you to take my melatonin or anything like that and they would not allow it even though I had already had my mother tell them that they needed to give to me so I barely slept the first two nights And let's just say that there was several other experiences that were definitely not so great.. and at that age I was a very expressive kid. I would love to dye my hair and dress differently. I even had a counselor told me I was going to go to hell because my hair was a light blue..... And cut in a pixie cut..... And that definitely wasn't all I was getting made fun of the whole time for my looks and how I dressed and not one counselor or anybody decided to help... And on the last day you get to go in the mud pit but the one rule was if you don't get in the my pit, you don't get to take a shower which I think is very peer pressuring and is not teaching any of the kids to say no to things that they're going to grow up in the future to do...... Some of the counselors or people. There were also pushing people into the mud pit and hurting them pretty badly. This is just my take from this horrible camp and this is 4 years ago when I went and I will still remember this place from all the horrible memories and things that you put me to at such a young age..... Save your kids the struggle because they may seem like they're great camp on the outside, but once you're in it you'll see!!!!!
