Powered by GoogleCamp Horizon is the best! Our GS Service Unit had our annual Encampment here! ❤️🔥🏕️ Wonderful property and the staff are superb!
This place is great for camping or just to spend the weakened. Clean, organized. Amazing staff, good food.
I attended Camp Horizons for the first time in 2023 (Session 1) and had such an amazing experience. My counselors were wonderful, and I bonded with my cabin-mates almost instantly. Everyone at camp is so welcoming and makes you feel right at home. I love all the fun traditions like the empty water pitcher club and the songs we sing before meals. The food was great (which says a lot because I’m a pretty picky eater), and they even have vegan options! This upcoming summer will be my last year since I’m aging out, but I’m really hoping to return as a Leadership Counselor. Camp Horizons will always hold a special place in my heart!
My class went to Camp Horizons for our end of year trip (we had a small class). The staff are so kind and passionate about the things they do here at the camp. The food was pretty nice for camp food and they had vegan options for my vegan classmate. We did activities like canoeing, field game, campfire s’mores and skits, all of the usual camp activities. They also had activities that most camps don’t have like the giant swing (trust me it is complete safe and fun). The cabin was nice and had indoor bathrooms and showers. This was a really fun camp and I can’t think of anything bad to say about it!
Camp Horizons is incredible, according to my teenage kids! Five years in row attending summer camp at CH has consistently led to the first question after picking them up: Can we go again next year? I cannot say enough good things about CH; 40 years in business certainly shows. Communication is great with the staff, pricing is good/better if you enroll early, and they provide daily pictures of campers while your kids are attending. You even have an option to send messages to your kids every day as well. Camp Counselers come from all over the world to supervise the kids young and teenage alike. My kids love interacting with counselors from other countries. One of the requirements that I love about CH is kids are not allowed to have electronics for the duration of their camp session. My kids do not even hesitate to leave their phones with me when I drop them off each year. If you are looking for a great summer camp option, check out CH!
