Camp Haccamo is a weeklong overnight camp for children and young adults with disabilities, founded and funded by the Rotary Clubs of Monroe County and operating since 1956. It has been held at the Rochester Rotary Sunshine Campus in Rush since 2009, and staffs one counselor for every two campers. The week includes social camp activities plus special events such as Carnival Nights, a talent show, a prom and the camp's refurbished Haccamo Train. The camp is also intended to give campers' families and caregivers respite.

★★★Leilani ColónWent here for Hollowed Harvest. For the price of the ticket $20 per person, it was not worth it. Pumpkin displays were not made with real pumpkins, which was kind of disappointing. Some of the fake pumpkins on display were broken. Some displays were repetitive, only a few had a "oh, thats cool" vibe but nothing of a WOW factor, that would make me want to come back.

★★★★★The Cat Who Saw You NakedI went here starting around 1993 in the Summer. I went almost every year until I was about 20-21, then went 2-3 times with CDR when they went during the late summer. Counselors were awesome people, very energetic and full of spirit, they loved their work and the campers. It's a shame that this location had to close down, although I hear now they are based in the Sunshine camp. Kinda wish I could volunteer as a staff to return the favor for all that they did for me :)
