Summer programs include Ultimate Greenough, a coed outdoor-skills program for ages 11-14 (survival skills, shooting sports, paddle boarding, climbing tower, ropes course, and zip line), and North Star for first-year Boy Scouts ages 11-13 ending in an overnight campout. There were many curious scouts there trying Morse Code and leaning about communications and satellites. Scouts from around the area will be able to use the center as they study principles of radio communication. Scouts can use the center to help earn merit badges for competency in electronics and radio and also to spark interest in STEM careers. .

Local and traveling scout troops can choose from many sites-some with flush toilet and running water and others that are more primitive. Archery, shooting range and many other activities on site.
