This year we did the camp good days and special times bike ride again, which is 45 miles me and my team completed it in the rain and we had a great time doing it. See you next year again 👊🏽💪🏽😎🚲🙏🏽
It's been YEARS since two of my children went there! Thank God they didn't have cancer! But the camp was (is?) used in the off season by other groups of special needs children. My two were part of The Games for the Physically Challenged. They would go there for a weekend in the autumn. A good time was had by all! It's a wonderful facility with a wonderful mission.
The Womens Wellness Retreat at Camp Good Days is wonderful. The Staff and volunteers bend over backwards to accommodate those of us who are there because we have/had cancer. The food, the activities and beautiful facilities make for a relaxing and fun weekend.
Camp Good Days and Special Times is an amazing place. Kids with cancer have the opportunity to camp for a week and participate in activities they normally wouldn't have a chance to realize. It's really special. If you have as chance to volunteer as a counselor is highly recommend it. It's very rewarding!
