This is a fantastic camp that has many multi generational camper families (grandparents, parents, and kids all attended over the last 100 years). Camp Foley offers nearly every outdoor activity possible in a fun and safe environment. The food is great and the children build lifelong friendships. The children also learn many life skills. We would highly recommend.

I sent my child there last summer for the first time. He had so many fears of not fitting in or just being the new kid in camp. His first letter home to us was filled with so many adventures and stories of the staff and kids that he met at camp. The staff at the camp was amazing and made him feel so welcomed. This experience carried him through the school year. His grades and achievements this past year are all a reflection of going to camp. As parents we are forever grateful to Camp Foley! Thank you so much.

All 3 of my children have gone to Camp Foley and absolutely loved it! The staff is fantastic, the setting is beautiful, there are a wide range of activities, and it’s such a great place for kids to “just be kids.” They’ve made wonderful friends and truly grown as individuals through their camp experiences. I highly recommend Camp Foley.

Camp Foley should be considered one of the wonders of this world! This Minnesota summer camp, in my humble opinion, is the best this state has to offer. I have attended as a camper for seven years and they have given me some of the best memories of my life. I truly love this place and couldn't imagine a better place to develop life skills such as responsibility, caring, respect, trustworthiness, fairness, and citizenship. Those are the six values of camp that help to encourage campers to be the best they can be, and let this be a testament to that. In addition, the LIT and CIT programs offered there allow older campers to expand their boundaries and step out of the comfort zone of being a camper. Instead, they are coached by counselors on how to become stronger leaders, not only within their camp community, but also when they return home and go back to school. It truly works, and it creates a unique environment where everyone feels like a brother and sister to you. In addition to that, the wide variety of activities found on both Whitefish Lake and on camp grounds are numerous and each require different skills. Along with this comes the virtue of growing grit, another important aspect in life that determines a stronger and more unique character for each camper. Above all, this place is extremely fun and safe. To be honest, fun is an understatement. In order to fully appreciate camp, you need to be a part of one. There is no place I'd rather be over the summer than at Camp Foley!
