Private
Camp Discovery is a nonprofit nature-and-science camp on 116 acres of forest, meadows, streams and wetlands in Blythewood. Campers explore creeks and woods studying ecosystems and biodiversity, and take part in a low ropes course, nature crafts, hikes, camp games, Gaga ball and hammock time; the site includes an art barn. Programs are built for Pre-K through 8th grade and run year-round, not only in summer.

Powered by GoogleMy son just completed a week of summer camp and he’s already asking to go back! Very well organized, thoughtful curriculum and caring staff. Highly recommend.
As a chaperone on a field trip to Camp Discovery, I loved how much the 7th graders enjoyed the whole experience. The classroom gave each student an true opportunity to experience how water quality is so important to everything for survival, enjoying hands on experiments. Also having a opportunity to go into a creek and discover all kinds of aquatic creatures, was so much fun. All students left knowing more about what water quality, pH levels, the important of water temperature, and so much more. It was a wonderful, above average learning experience. If given the opportunity every school should visit Camp Discovery in Blythewood.
Great staff, very knowledgeable, the different stations were wonderful
