Powered by GoogleI've been visiting this place for 3 years and still haven't found anything wrong with it, except that the cabins still don't have AC. Otherwise, the place and the people are just a piece of heaven.
If I could give this zero stars I would. Awesome concept and I’ve been to many other good camps before. But this one was an absolute nightmare. People running it were very rude. They made one of our group leaders so uncomfortable they had to leave. The attitude was very much that they were better than us. The owners daughter was harassing the younger girls as well. She also bragged to our leader that they hadn’t paid a dime for the camp. I wish there was something nice I could say. But since coming back we’ve had more and more people saying they were very uncomfortable. I don’t think our church will be sending anyone there again. But there are so many other amazing camps in Wisconsin. Maybe instead of going there check out camps like pow wow in Menominee falls. They’re wonderful and super friendly.
The facilities and staff at Camp Daniel were amazing. Attended a 3 day conference and the logistics were all seen to by Camp Daniel. Our group never wanted for anything and even though we had long days the staff were available and ready to help at all times. The setting is beautiful, though our time of year and schedule kept us off the beautiful lake water. Wifi available throughout the campus made up for the remote location and enabled online work and phone calls even when our normal carriers didn't. Great place, great staff and a very strong mission. I would gladly visit again and am looking for opportunities to donate to meet their needs.
Fantastic venue. Incredible attention to detail in every building. Staff was welcoming and did phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Camp Daniel & their new campground!!! I’ve been here 3 times & it’s 100% my home away from home. It’s so calming & nature-felt. If I could go on a retreat any day, you can find me here on the lakefront because that’s my absolute favorite feature on this campground! See you soon!
