Powered by GoogleI am a longtime supporter of Camp Concordia, both as a staff member and former camper. Incredible place with a true devotion to the faith! This camp is filled with excellent staff that are wise and caring. I’ve learned many unforgettable lessons here that have furthered my personal and professional life. God’s blessings!
It was so horrid. Sending your child here is the equivalent to ruining there summer experience. I am saying this from the child’s perspective if you cherish your relationship with ur child do not send them here. Please understand the people that send in these high reviews truly did not experience the camp as a camper rather parents or someone that works there. Please cherish ur moments with child and try to give them a good childhood by not sending them to this rancid gosh awful camp. Also the camp councilers who will not be named are very un kind to some of the children at the camp. Be better.
Our 10 year old had a great time at the 4 day camp, and wants to go the full week next summer! We enjoyed how they posted alot of pictures throughout the week so we could catch a glimpse of all the awesome things they did!
My son and I just got home from camp and we had a blast. He is already talking about wanting to go back next year. The staff is very knowledgeable and are very good with the kids. The facilities and cabins are clean and well cared for. Water front is very nice and they have a cool water slide for the kids and a rope swing to swing into the water on. The boats are in great shape. Next year I will be bringing my two oldest son's to camp.
Our son attended Camp Concordia for the first time last summer durning a 3-5 grade Journey session. All my worries about him being away for a week were unfounded. He had the time of his life and when we picked him up at the end of the week he declared that he HAS to come back next year. The counselors are well trained and engage with the kids. They have daily activities and events for the campers which help make the time fly. 9 months later, our kiddo still talks about his positive experience at Concordia, still knows all the camp songs and is counting down the days until his next week away. Concordia does an amazing job giving kids life-long memories at camp where fun, fellowship and Jesus are central to their time there.
