Camp Compass Academy

Camp Compass Academy is an Allentown nonprofit that introduces urban middle- and high-school students (grades 6-12) to the outdoors through hunting, fishing, archery and conservation, pairing them with mentors. It runs primarily as a multi-year, year-round after-school mentoring program (about 2.5 hours weekly) in which students earn outdoor trips by meeting academic and behavioral goals; a hunter-safety course is completed in the first year.
