Camp Chickagami sits on the shores of Lake Esau and Lake Huron at Presque Isle and is the family camping and retreat center of the Episcopal Diocese of Eastern Michigan. Founded in 1929 as an Episcopal boys' camp, it now runs traditional overnight youth camp sessions for all ages and genders, with outdoor activities, crafts and games rooted in the Episcopal Church, alongside family camps, adult retreats and year-round group rentals. The camp is ACA-accredited and states an explicit welcome to campers and staff of all backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations and abilities.
