Powered by GoogleA great place for ministry to kids. Wonderful people to work with. Lots of various activities for the kids. Godly atmosphere.
I've been going for years now. I've probably brought a good ten friends with me over the years, and we still talk about it. It's a great experience for anyone! You make a lot of new friends and learn a lot about how God plays a part in your life. Strongly suggest 😁
This camp is not like any other. I have been going for roughly 7 years and I have made amazing friends and further deepened my relationship with God. I come back every year because this is one of very few places I can go and be my self. The camps counslers are amazing and the whole camp is beautiful. I wanted to thank this Camp for being a huge part in my life and for all the amazing memories that have been great here.
One of the few camps that still seeks to develop youth, not entertain them. Cherith places a strong emphasis on the Bible and the camper\counselor relationship. Their facilities are average (think rustic hunting cabin). But they maintain accreditation by the American Camping Association which is the gold standard of children's camps when it comes to safety and programming. My daughter loves this place!
As a long time camper, I have loved this camp and was a camper for about 10 years. The staff is caring and loveable. The site is beautiful. Beautiful, new log cabins were put in just a few years ago, and there are a few great hiking trails to enjoy. I would suggest it to anyone!
