Camp of Champs, also known as Camp Character, is an overnight special-needs camp in Park Rapids for young people ages 11-18 with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder and related needs. Its LIFE SKILLS sessions focus on respect, boundaries and appropriate behavior, and its LITE (Leaders in Training Experience) sessions focus on leadership, advocacy and transition skills, with training on an on-site Character Challenge Course. The camp opened in 2006, is accredited by the American Camp Association, and runs sessions June through August; 2026 tuition runs roughly $1,296 to $2,495.
