Camp Carl is a Christian overnight summer camp near Ravenna serving grades 3-12, with weeklong sessions running Sunday afternoon through Friday. Campers take part in horseback riding, tubing, archery, waterskiing, paintball and daily evening worship, with specialty Equine and Waterskiing camps for older grades. Programs are grouped by age with a roughly 6:1 camper-to-counselor ratio and a Christ-centered focus.

Plenty of meeting space and recreational areas for all interests. You won’t find traditional “camp food” on the menu. A fully staffed kitchen prepares hearty and tasty meals. The young people who work there genuinely care about their guests. Management is always available and quick to respond.

The staff, counselor, director, everyone is sharing Gods love and spreading the word of Jesus. We drop the kids off with 100% certainly they will be safe, happy and have a complete blast. They have so many activities, tubing, pool, horse back riding, kayaking, paddle boarding, the iceberg at the lake, creek time, glow party, giant slip and slide, archery, tribal war, rodeo. Lots of themes! The kids enjoyed the food, their cabins, the snack shack, SAGA (extra activity sign up all week) pottery, baking, sports, guitar. Tom is so passionate about Camp Carl and keeping the tradition of camp going for another 60 years. Watching a big group of 9-19 year olds connect, sing, dance and praise God is an incredible sight to see. The relationships that are formed that week are simply God working through every single person at camp and it’s beautiful. The campus is safe and secure. Pick up and drop off are seamless, like a well oiled machine. They have it down to a science and are so organized. We are counting down the days til next summer! Camp Carl is a little piece of Heaven in the crazy, ever changing world we live in.
