My child is tired, hungry and has had a full day of fun every afternoon! They sing the cutest little song for grace before lunch that she loves, and they are always on a field trip going different places or doing something every day to keep her busy and active and off of those electronics! She has been coming for years and is always ready for school to end so she can go back to camp! WE LOVE CAMP CALVARY!!

Camp Calvary has been an amazing experience for my children and myself. Both of my children absolutely love the counselors and have both made many friends. The activities are perfectly planned out so that every child can have the best time over the summer. So many incentives, crafts, rewards, and field trips are planned. My kids come home excited for the next trip or activity that is planned. The counselors are very friendly and seem to really love each kid they work with! To say I’m very pleased with our experience is speaking lightly! We love camp and my kids look forward to it each and every year!

Camp has a terrible bullying problem. Rather than address it they have a nasty habit of kicking out or dismissing the kids who have been bullied. It DOES NOT come across as a professional or safe camp with how the owner picks personal favorites or arbitrarily decided that a kid isn't welcome. The kids attending see that and mimic the behavior. If you have no other option, I still wouldn't recommend this place if you want your child to be fairly and kindly looked after. There's NO documentation when incidents happen, injuries both physical or verbal. It's truly upsetting that the kids attending are more reliable narrators then the adults in charge. If your kid tells you they don't want to go here, are being bullied, ect PLEASE LISTEN TO THEM!! Please note due to the owner reply : I am not a parent, my God daughter attended here and had an awful experience. I am also I'm the education field and understand there have to be consequences for certain actions. However when both sides are in the wrong and only 1 is severely punished when they get fed up of the bullying and finally retaliate, that doesn't seem fair or well documented. If you are having an issue maintaing staff that probably has more to do with how they are being treated in the envoirment they work in rather than the brief interactions with families & parents during pickup / drop off and special events. I at no point mentioned teachers or counselors, i very directly said the OWNER. And seeing how you tried to say it was your staff's fault & blame a review for loosing counselors speaks for itself. Have a blessed day

My daughter did not enjoy camp.. she skipped thursday and the only reason she went today is because we had important meetings involving our oldest. If not for that she would've stayed home today as well. Girls were nasty to her every day. The counselors are/were great though! Unfortunately the weather ruined most of it for her so it wasn't as fun as it could've been but she also is very sensitive so other kids being nasty/mean to her ruins it all. Gave 3 stars because the counselors were great and she enjoyed the petting zoo today. We can't control the weather but it would be nice if kids were more kind

As a new counselor this year, I found the activities well organized and fun. Bible sessions were so appreciated. Godly and moral principles can be practiced and applied in the lives of the children. Discipline is administered in a fair and loving way, teaching the children the meaning of consequences of their actions. Thanks for a great experience. The counsellors are great!
