Camp Butler is part of the Manatoc Scout Reservation within Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Peninsula, Ohio, operated by the Great Trail Council (Scouting America) and opened in 1962. On nearly 600 acres of lakes, trails, and fields, it is used primarily for summer Cub Scout day camps and Scouts BSA weekend tent camping, plus weekend training programs.

★★★★Jeff LengelGreat scouting property. This property backs into the more famous Camp Manatoc. The road into Buttler will actually take you into manatoc and then to truxell rd. They are strict about visitors during summer camps and weekend camp events. But during the week the camp is empty. Lots of somewhat maintained trails but the property is beautiful. Butler is the Cub Scout section of camp and manatoc is the Boy Scout section of camp.

★★★★★Richard kAwesome camp for youngsters it really teaches them to live away from electronics and introduce kids into nature. The kids would need to sign up for cub scouts but the scouts will teach them to have new friends. They also can learn to swim, hike, fish, canoe, and overall have a blast a day camps. Then when they get older they can go on to camp manatoc and learn more advanced skills they can use there entire life they will also love the out doors. Trust this eagle scout its unbelievable the amount of fun we had.
