Camp Broadstone is Appalachian State University's outdoor adventure and retreat center on 55 acres in the Valle Crucis/Banner Elk area, offering summer enrichment programs for academically gifted youth that blend enrichment classes with adventure activities. Options include one- and two-week resident (overnight) camps and a day-camp option, encouraging intellectual, social and physical growth. It is ACA-accredited and university-run.
