Camp Blue Hawk is a five-day, four-night overnight summer camp run by OU Health's Harold Hamm Diabetes Center for children and teens ages 9–17 living with type 1 diabetes. Experienced medical staff are on site throughout, and activities include swimming, hiking and ropes courses. The camp promotes diabetes self-management, confidence and independence, and financial assistance ensures no child is turned away for inability to pay.
