My special needs daughter went to Camp Blessings for the first time in July. Her anxiety was off the charts, since this was her first time. Her buddy was awesome and even managed to encourage her to ride the tandem zip line, which her getting on a typical zip line is a SPECTACULAR feat and her buddy managed to accomlish it. The relationship they forge with their buddy in the short time they are there is amazing. The Camp Blessing staff match the camper with their buddy perfectly. And, yes, there were tears from my daughter when she hugged her buddy goodbye when we left camp. We loved watching the staff and volunteers bond before dropping off our campers. When summer 2026 camp dates are open for reserving we will be clicking on that link and signing up. The location of Camp Blessing is beautiful and peaceful. For those that do not have a special needs child the camp is open to host any retreat you may have.

Our Man Camp weekend was amazing! The setting, Camp Blessing, was fantastic. The cabins are well-maintained, spotless, clean, and perfectly outfitted. Ours, Crockett, had two separate sides, each with 16 bunks, 3 showers, 1 tub, dressing areas, 6 sinks, and a meeting room full of comfortable couches. There is a huge dining halls, served by friendly and welcoming staff. The fishing pond is stocked with plenty of bass. The large, open spaces allowed for the fantastic skeet-shooting set-up. An excellent pool and challenge courses are on-site. The large covered pavilion served as our primary large-group meeting area, perfect for the early fall setting.

Our church ladies had a October retreat here, and it was an amazing experience! Beautiful location, grounds kept in top shape, the food was delicious and the activities fun! Rhonda was a joy to work with as we were planning. She was quick to answer our many many questions, and very accommodating as we thought through what was specific to our group. She was very present while we were on site during the retreat, very warm and kind and helpful. Various types of accommodation available. I highly recommend this location for a ladies' retreat!

Camp Blessing is a blessing indeed! My son has autism and Intellectual disability in addition to a history of aggression, insomnia, speech delay etc... He loves Camp Blessing. He gets to have a summer camp experience away from his parents. He hangs out with peers, goes swimming, zip lining, horseback riding and participates in praise and worship. I can't say enough good things about this anointed place, its incredible staff, and loving volunteers. I am so grateful CBTX exists to serve kids like my son. It blessed my family the past two summers and we can't wait to go back again next summer!
