Powered by GoogleCounselors said some pretty disturbing comments to my daughter daily. This was All counselors in her bunk. They need to train counselors better to handle situations and be kind to all campers considering they pride themselves on inclusivity and have special needs here. Speaking hurtful comments to her everyday is not the type of surroundings I want her to be in. Also, medical staff do not take medications/health concerns seriously and do not communicate health problems.
Barney is my happy place, the second I get off the bus I start counting down the days until I can go back. Barney is my home away from home, my summer place, the place that I can see all my best friends that are more like sisters to me. I’m so excited to be back this summer!
As a former camper, and mom of current campers, Camp Barney Medintz offers fantastic programs for all age campers. They love water crafts, nature activities, music, and friendships.
This camp is my Summer Place and I could never ask for more! Everything about this camp is absolutely breathtaking; from the amazing trips to the beautiful Shabbats every weekend, there's so much to do and so many wonderful opportunities to spend time with the most generous and caring people, as well as meet new ones! This is the best place on earth. With out camp i wouldn't be who i am today and thats a fact. All my best friends come from this amazing community of people from all over the world. Really no words can describe how i feel about camp but one thing is for sure you really do have to be there to get the full joy of it , sure i tell my friends all these amazing stories that are hilarious but they don't understand because they were not there. Over the past seven years I've been inspired to be a better person because of this joyous community and the friends and memories i made there. I strongly recommend sending your children to this amazing camp because in the future i know i will send my kids there so they can have some of the best experiences in their lives.
