Great experience for our son. The staff is excellent. First time he had ever stayed away from home & he loved it. He'll be returning in 2026.
I'm a camp and I've been going since 2021 and it has been the most fun I have ever had. It give me a break from school and I always look forward to it every year. There is always so much to do and I never get bored. I will go as long as I can. The missionaries are always kind and really caring. The themes are different each summer so it is always fresh.
One of my daughters went her first year and loved it. She returned the second year, with her able brother, and they both had good experiences. My other daughter worked there last year, and had a wonderful experience. It is expensive, but there are grants and waivers available (we are a one-income family and the grants were a huge help). It has been a valuable opportunity for our kids, both spiritually and socially.
Camp Barnabas has the best people! I love all of the staff, missionaries and campers. They are very loving and caring people. They are a family to me. I will continue going for as many years in my life as I can.
