Used to camp there in the mid 60's when I was a Scout
Great improvements since pre-pandemic. Great job. Boys are having a great time.
Have not visited in years. Was very surprised to see the improvements that were made to campsites 1 and 2 (I did not venture back to where the other sites are, but will on a future visit). Lots of space to camp, solid shelter, readily available firewood, and one of the best latrines I've seen/used. Plenty of opportunities for service projects too. The troop I am with is already planning a return trip to this site. Easy access from VA Beach and Chesapeake.
Great BSA Campground with 2 campsites and a 2 stall pit latrine.
