Aldersgate Camp and Retreat Center is an ACA-accredited, United Methodist-affiliated resident (overnight) Christian summer camp on the western edge of the Adirondack Park in Greig/Brantingham, New York. Serving ages 6-18 in week-or-longer sessions since 1948, it is notably inclusive of children with special needs, including ADHD, learning disabilities, and diabetes. Campers experience outdoor activities and Christian community.

★D. VaughnA regrettable experience in many ways. The food was the highest in saturated fat I have found served in a dining hall in the past five years. The staff seemed most concerned with a political agenda that included gender bending identity goals. All in all as a retreat, it is and would be, a regrettable option. As a camp for children and young adults I think I have said enough. Aldersgate is not a good idea for a summer camp in any way.
