Powered by GoogleWhat an awesome experience! Myself, my wife and my five year old spent three days here this past weekend. We each arrived with one lesson under our belt so essentially brand new. The staff and the instructors were great, it had more of a family atmosphere with a personal touch. The magic carpet was a bit small and crowded but the bunny hill was awesome. It starts with a gentle wind through the woods and ends with a steep dropoff. Although it's a bit daunting, the challenge helped us learn. By the end of the weekend we were taking the triple to the top and skiing (surviving) the blues on the way down. There also seemed to be lots for more advanced skiers to do - terrain parks, glades, and an ungroomed mogul trail that I had the misfortune of ending up on a little early. Food is great, prices are affordable, vibe is mellow. Rentals were nice and flowed smoothly. Highly recommend.
Definitely worth trying out.. Toboggan is only $10 per hour, which is very reasonable and super fun. They also have a separate tubing area as well as a separate ski/snowboard area. The main lodge does seem to get crowded but I'm sure that's normal.
Great Mountain, well-maintained, new parking area allows for ease in finding a spot. Nice deck outside the dining area. Dining hut small on a busy day with high school ski races! Friendly staff.
It was a great experience over all! I was surprised with how good the food was in the lodge. Great people and fun way to spend a winter day outside.
We did the Sunday chair lift ride and hiked down the mountain. The views up top were fantastic. Packed a picnic lunch to eat when we got back to the lodge. The lift runs out of ski season fall Sundays 10-2, but check the website to confirm it is open. They also sell food for a quick lunch or snack. Lift tickets are not sold in advance.
