C. Kirk Rhein, Jr. Center for the Living Arts (Rhein Center)
Private
The C. Kirk Rhein, Jr. Center for the Living Arts is the arts center at Lakeside Chautauqua, offering summer art classes for all ages, including many geared to children. Kids' offerings include rock painting, sewing, friendship bracelets, duct-tape wallets and easel art, held indoors and outdoors under tents throughout the summer. Classes are short, individually registered sessions rather than a full-day camp, and children under 7 must be accompanied by a caregiver.

The Rhein Center is a great place during the summer for kids activities. They do a fantastic job catering to families with their selection of activities. Our favorite this trip was the hulahoop craft. The staff is amazing and very friendly. We had a great time and will be back soon.
