We had an amazing experience at BYC preschool! Our daughter spent two joyful years there (and both girls go there for aftercare now as well), and it was the perfect place for her to learn, grow, and explore. Owner Trinette truly treats every child like family—she loves her students deeply, and it shows in everything she does. The care and attention she and the BYC team provide creates such a warm, engaging environment. Our daughter couldn’t wait to go to school each day, and she was more than ready for kindergarten—even as one of the youngest in her class. The foundation she built at BYC preschool helped her grow into a confident, curious learner. We’re so grateful to be a part of this special community and couldn’t recommend BYC more highly!

WE LOVE BYC Kids! The teachers are phenomenal and our kids enjoy BYC’s inclusive environment so much. BYC fosters a great learning foundation for pre-school students, getting them ready for kindergarten. Some of the curriculum includes circle/reading time, studying the alphabet, learning to count in Spanish, arts & crafts projects, kids yoga, mini field trips to the library or to nearby parks, and much more. My son was a bit delayed with his speech and thanks to BYC his speech has developed and advanced so much. My daughter loves the creative atmosphere that BYC offers and is always excited to go to school. We also look forward to the annual Christmas play/party where the kids from the after-school program (and some pre-schoolers) participate in a play. The BYC team also works with you if you require a flexible schedule which is such a plus! I can’t say enough great things about Trinette (BYC Founder) and her team!

Where do I even start with BYC Kids? This preschool was a game changer for our little guy. Trinette and her team are absolutely incredible, and truly have a genuine passion in developing children. One thing (among many!) we love about BYC Kids is Trinette understands that not every method is a "one size fits all" approach for her preschoolers (ages 2-4), and makes massive efforts to make sure that each child has what they need to be successful. With her years of education and experience, she is incredibly knowledgeable and has taught us so much as parents! We cannot say enough good things about this school, and Trinette and her team! Our little guy is our first, so sending him to preschool was nerve wrecking to say the least. But for any parent looking for a safe, nurturing, educational, and fun environment for your little one, rest assured this is the school for you! You can trust that your child is getting all the love and nurturing outside of your home, and growing and developing beyond measure. We couldn't recommend BYC Kids enough, and if we could give 10 stars on here we would!!

Sending our son to BYC Kids was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. It was his first preschool experience, and it set such a strong foundation for his growth and development. Trinette (the owner and lead teacher) is absolutely incredible—so warm, attentive, and deeply invested in each child’s learning and well-being. The space itself is beautiful: a safe, clean, and inclusive environment with both indoor play areas and a great outdoor playground. Our son thrived there. We truly felt part of a community. We recently moved out of the area and had to leave BYC, but we still talk about how special it was. If you’re considering preschool options in Seattle, we can’t recommend BYC Kids enough. They’re a gem.

We love BYC! Trinette and her team are amazing, caring people. We appreciate the mix of structured activities (theater and arts/photography program) and unstructured play. Our daughter has expanded her horizons and grown her confidence through the theater program. She also loves going to local parks and playgrounds with her BYC friends. BYC is a gem of a community and we couldn’t be happier with our experience.
