Butterfield Park District runs weekly themed summer day camps at its Lombard facility, including Fun in the Sun, Camp Jurassic Park District, Survivor Camp, Around the World, Science Palooza, Wacky Water and a Teen Camp. Camps run in one-week sessions from June through early August and are open to the public by session, so families can register for a single week or several. The district serves children from age 3 (Camp Super Tot) through elementary ages, with a separate Teen Camp, and operates its own outdoor aquatics center on site.

Powered by GoogleExceptional Adapted Swim Program at Butterfield Park District! The adapted swimming classes at Butterfield Park District have been a fantastic experience for our family! The instructors are incredibly kind, patient, and professional—they truly know how to connect with each child and help them grow. A special shout-out to Johnny, the program manager, who goes above and beyond to make sure every child is included, learning, and having a great time. His dedication and care make all the difference. We’re so grateful for this amazing program!
Honestly such a great place to visit. The pool is so fun, the staff is so kind and always friendly. All of the members are respectful of one another providing an all around great experience. The pool managers are always on deck and very professional.
Dani puts on the best camp I have ever seen! I went to BPD when I was a kid for camp and she has made it a million times better. I can’t wait for my kids to go to BPD camp. It is an amazing resource for working parents and for kids to have the best summer filled with fun, activities, and sunshine! 10000/10 recommend ☺️
Butterfield Park District has an annual Christmas bash that was very nicely done. We were able to visit live reindeer, which is always a favorite, and Santa was there as well. There were activities for children. Highly recommended!
I call Butterfield Park District my "home courts". Beautifully dedicated pickleball courts (2) tucked away from the road. Hello Lombard Park District, just need 2 items to make it perfect: -lights for evening summertime play & -pickleball lines with pickleball nets on the 8 existing lighted tennis courts. This is my happy place!
