Powered by GoogleCamp Butano Creek is a warm, well-run space that really shines during troop weekends. Over Labor Day, the crew had a full mix—hiking, sports, crafts, and downtime by the fire. The schedule was balanced, with enough structure to keep things moving but plenty of room for spontaneous fun. Everyone had a role, and the energy felt welcoming and easygoing. The cabins and tents were simple but comfortable, and meals were handled smoothly. Volunteers were kind and organized, always ready to help without hovering. What stood out most was the sense of connection—people pitched in, shared laughs, and made space for quiet moments too. It’s the kind of camp that leaves you feeling rested, included, and ready to come back.
Great place to camp! Very accommodating, gorgeous views. So much fun!
Great campground! Very nicely maintained. But alas only for Girl Scout troops!
Pretty good and safe place for kids to go around the camp site. In night, very good to watch stars in dark sky and in pretty dark arounding although among high trees around, not totally wide open.
My home away from home since 2011. I can't imagine a summer without camp. Love my camp family. CBC forever!
