Butano Creek - Girl Scout Camp

Camp Butano Creek is a volunteer-staffed Girl Scouts of Northern California overnight (residential) camp on 145 acres of old-growth redwood forest near Pescadero. It runs three 8-day summer sessions serving campers ages 5-18, who sleep in cabins and platform tents and take part in traditional outdoor camp activities. The property is protected by a conservation easement and also hosts troops and family group stays.

The cabins and tents were simple but comfortable, and meals were handled smoothly. Volunteers were kind and organized, always ready to help without hovering. It’s the kind of camp that leaves you feeling rested, included, and ready to come back.
