The Burgo Basketball Association is a nonprofit at 101 Slocum Road in Dartmouth running summer basketball camps and leagues for youth ages 8-18. Camp days include warm-up and stretching, training stations, shooting and defense drills, 3x3 games, and Dr. Dish shooting work, plus daily discussions on school, peer pressure, substance abuse, and sportsmanship. A summer league runs June through early August.

★Bryan PowersTerribly run program very unfair and unorganized !!!!!! Also My team won the championship! As for the team complaint! no I’m talking about the politics of the league and yes we won beating the refs not the players they blew out every team by 30 points but won by two in the championship game because of un fair calls and favoritism! I’m referring to the league in general but as far as Ashley’s team that complaint is also valid thanks for bringing it up
★Laura JonesThe experience here this summer was awful all around . From poor officiating to disgusting behavior from parents and other coaches . This league does what’s “in the best interest” for some teams and not others . Regardless of anything and of anyone’s record every single team should be given 10 games that are paid for . I can see why it’s ran so poorly from all the smug responses to all your poor reviews. Should take all the feedback and make some changes instead of all the hostility and snarkiness.. save your money next summer and have your kids join another , better run league.
★Ashley BrancoPut 2 teams on this summer for this league and was just let down completely. For my girls team we weren’t given a fair chance all season with a coach reffing a game helping the opposite team win, to taking our 10th game away and knocking us out of the play offs. Considering our 10th game would have made us tied for 4th place. This league crushed our girls spirits into pieces. My boys team dominated in their league winning every game but it seemed to have caused issues because we were new to the league so every coach complained about having new competition. We brought over 2k to this league this summer, sadly we won’t be returning after what we seen this last summer. My emails never got returned after just assuming we weren’t good enough to enter the plays offs. My girls are AAU champions!
