Powered by GoogleI got baptized by Russell brand at the church. It was an amazing experience and venue. Many people that evening found Jesus and got baptized.
Converted old church -yes. Clean & functional.
Although I do not understand their reasoning that those that walk up are less deserving than those that drive up to receive food distribution I am sure receiving something is meaningful. Those who stand in line for hours sometimes exposed to the weather such as rain or biting cold and summers humid heat do so to receive what is decided by whoever is in charge only to be ridiculed by the staff (volunteer or not) if they seek more of anything while those in their vehicles and the comfort and shelter it provides are typically given more, meats when they have it in particular, as a matter of course. I cannot fathom why this disparity persists but it seems obvious that their perception of those that are not in vehicles is skewed.
The outreach was awesome
