I had a fantastic experience with the sailboat classes! There are plenty of sailboats, dengys, sunfish, etc, available for rent if you're a member. The atmosphere is enjoyable, and the community feels like another family. Highly recommend!

I took lessons there a few years ago, and I absolutely loved it!

The people are great. The clubhouse is great. Hot showers, nice restrooms, restaurant next door,,,everyone will give a hand to anyone needing help. The sailing location is on about 75 yards from marina entrance. Several sunfish, hobie and Catalina boats for club members to enjoy. Very good for the kids to learn sailing

I had high hopes for this club. I joined after taking a sailing course in Nashville, TN. I wanted a chance to practice my new skills before purchasing a sailboat of my own. I paid the membership fee and met with one member for a trial run. The sailboat was old, dirty and not well maintained. There was trash and cobwebs everywhere. The motor was VERY difficult to start. After spending some time getting the sails up we basically had no wind to sail. We powered back to the dock. I asked the member to let me know when she would be available to try again and I never heard from her. I had no problem sailing with a member to prove I could for insurance purposes… I just feel like they took my membership fee and I got nothing in return. No emails about meetings or sails. It’s been almost a year and I’m sure I have forgotten everything I learned. Very disappointed.
