Spacious for dancing, serving food , venue table setups and chairs. This nite was the All White Sneaker Ball with a DJ and plenty of space on the dance floor. She was incredibly helpful and willing to go above and beyond to assist me and my family. I walked out of there with additional resources that I hadn’t even expected to receive, which was a blessing. The center has a Christmas assistance program that is very helpful to the community, including myself and my children. They also have a clothing bank with so many clothes all given away for free, and you can choose your own clothes. They’re happy to give them to you. I will definitely be paying it forward as soon as I have the capability of doing so. Thank you, Teresa, for all of your help!
★Stephanie SchwenkerAfter-school program is very misleading. No one is actually interacting with these kids! They get a bag of chips and then get separated and put in different rooms and they're pretty much stuck there until it's time to leave there's no sports there's no activities and other stuff that they list on that paper and I understand it's free but you still shouldn't tell stories and make people think you're doing something your not that's not fair to parents! Or the kids. I was really looking forward to the program I did a lot of work to get my son in it, and then come to find out it was nothing like it said so I'm just a little bit upset! He said they had plates of food out in front of them trading out money around them I just don't like that! That's treating them rudely flaunting money and food maybe these kids don't have those things! That in itself really upset me too should there not be a place for these adults to flaunt their food and money not around these kids especially considering all you're giving them is a bag of chips!
★★★★★Sherry ImerionNice area for football, picnics or just bringing the kids out to run and play. There are also rooms available to host private venues. I have a soft spot for this place. It's where I received my CNA Certification in 2001. It was called " Lakeview Education Center" at that time.
