The Briargate Family Center YMCA in Colorado Springs runs the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region's summer day camp for ages 5-12, alongside before- and after-school care. Camp weeks are themed and include golf lessons with First Tee, rock climbing and bouldering, a Ninja Warrior course at Lost Island, bowling tournaments and swimming at YMCA pools. The Y also offers shorter Summer Mini Camps for families who do not want an all-day commitment. The branch is at 4025 Family Place.

★Adelaide petersonI have NEVER BEEN TO A POOL THIS GROSS there was dirt/something brown in quite a few places, and it was obvious that the pool was not chlorinated in quite a while. Then I got some of the water in my mouth ( on accident) it TASTED LIKE SALT/URINE. for this one you may need some context I got a new ear piercing 5 months ago, several hours after exiting the pool my piercing was swollen and sore ( it was not like this at any other point in the last 5 months) and smelled like that distinct bacterial smell. BRIAGATE YMCA GAVE ME AN EARLOBE INFECTION, I will say the front desk people were very kind and polite.

We loved her when she was managing the Learn and Play at the Jetwing location and were sad to see her go. I feel blessed to have someone so kind and patient caring for my babies.

I feel confident that my son is in good hands. The child care workers know him by name, and show genuine care for him. The instructors, Jeni, Bitsy and Deidra in particular are fantastic. They are encouraging, fun and talented. I have come to love Zumba and group fight because of their coach in the community feel of the classes. Nancy and Jess are always ready to help in the front if I need anything or just to chat. They are incredibly friendly and diligent. The facilities are everything you need in gym with no fluff. I always see the custodial staff around keeping everything spick and span. I used to come to this Y as a kid and loved it then. Now as an adult, after a year of membership its one of my favorite places to be. I look forward to many more years for me and my family at the Y.

They continue to meet and exceed our needs as Briargate continues to grow. Swim lessons turned into swim team, which turned into lifeguarding and life saving skills.
