Powered by GoogleI think that Ron is a highly talented coach with a perfect balance of skills development and encouragement! He is good at coaching my son and growing his talent! Love the structure of this and have nothing but great things to say about this!
My son has been playing with the Muckdogs for about a year now. Talk about a 1st class organization!!! My son has developed so much since starting with them. They have high values on teaching the game the right way with proper mechanics, good sportsmanship and understanding that is a process. Not only do they have high values on baseball but also on education. They stress the importance of how valuable a great education is. The coaching is top notch from 9’s all they way to the 19’s. Bret has built an amazing organization!! If you’re looking for high level baseball for your son, this is definitely the place!!
We have had the privilege to be a part of the Muckdogs organization through Bret Pagni’s Baseball & Softabll Academy for almost a year now. I have a 9U player and a 14U player that will both continue with the origination through the 19U level. I can not say enough about this high-level organization, the owner Bret Pagni and his staff of highly dedicated and experienced coaches. The players that are fortunate enough to be developed in this program are not only taught the fundamentals of baseball, but they are held to the highest accountability to respect the game, their teammates, coaches and umpires. High emphasis is put on academics, player (and parent) behavior/conduct and arm health. Coaches WILL never put a players arm or body at risk to win a game. They put their emphasize not on winning at all costs, but on playing the game the right way. The culture and the families that are part of this organization are some of the best we have ever come across. We have about 8 years in Little League under our belt as well as a former travel ball team for my oldest son, so we are not new to baseball or the travel experience. In addition to the travel teams we play on for Muckdogs, both my boys take private lessons at the facility on a weekly basis, we have participated in spring, summer and fall camps and as a parent I have had the opportunity to assist the owner as a Team Admin. I have nothing but the highest regard and respect for Bret Pagni and the organization he runs. It is hands down the best decision we could have made for both our boys. They both look forward to their lessons, practice and traveling for tournaments against some of the best teams in California. Their personal development as individual players has been pretty amazing to watch this past year and my husband and I look forward to many, many more years here with what I believe wholeheartedly to be the best baseball facility for training and development in Northern Nevada.
My 7 year old son participated in Bret Pagni's Baseball Summer Camp and LOVED it. The coach to child ratio was great and they kept the camp fun while also teaching age appropriate skills. The camp hours were PERFECT (8:30am - noon) so I didn't have to worry about my son being out on the field in the scorching heat. We look forward to participating in this camp again next summer and will be checking out Bret Pagni's Baseball Academy to see what else they offer!
My son is in his 6th season playing for Bret Pagni’s Baseball and Softball Academy as a muckdog. Bret and Ken have taught my son the importance of hard work, dedication, and importance of education. The quality of coaching is outstanding. They provide camps and top notch private instruction. They have taught my son that it’s not all about winning a baseball game but playing the game right. They also have high expectation for well-behaved parents, which is so important. The health of the players is their top priority; keeping pitch counts low and requiring no throw periods. I can’t say enough about Bret’s organization and if your player wants to learn to be a better baseball player, in a competitive environment, this is the place for you!
