Brainy Ridge is a nonprofit that runs condition-specific residential summer camps for children and teens living with chronic health conditions, hosted on the 750-acre Blue Ridge School campus in St. George, Virginia, about 20 miles from Charlottesville. Separate week-long sleepaway sessions serve campers with type 1 diabetes, heart conditions, epilepsy and autism (level 1 support), with medical support built in.
