The Braintree Community Arts Center, run through the town's recreation department, offers themed Summer Fun Weeks of arts and crafts, hands-on discovery projects and games for children entering grades 3-6. Fun Weeks meet Monday-Thursday from 8:30am-2:30pm and children bring their own lunch, snacks and drinks. The center also runs shorter standalone summer workshops for younger children, including science, mindfulness and art sessions that run mornings only.
