Beautiful place to stay! The plunge was fun to play in, the elk bugles in the mornings were fantastic, and it wasn't very hot! Owners are great to work with and communicate well! They have a cool new climbing/rappelling tower! Great bathroom and kitchen facilities as well!

Spent a family reunion here and figured I'd give info that wasn't readily available and I had to hunt down. This is a great camp spot for big families. There are 6 "bunk houses" with 4 bunk beds each. They're screwed into the walls and come with a water resistant pads/mattresses. There is electricity and a couple outlets that handled my hair dryer just fine. Though we did unplug everything else just in case. They also have a small heater in the wall that keeps the place toasty warm. There were no bugs or infestations or mice. There is NO reception up there. None. I was kinda hoping there was some secret staff wifi or Ethernet that the scouts didn't get to use but the adults did. Nope. Nothing. There's only a small 3-5 mile radius spot in Stanley about 25 minutes from the camp where you can get cell service. There are bathrooms and showers and they're pretty nice and well-kept. Again, there's electricity and outlets so you can get ready pretty easily. They do have hot water but something happened to the water pump or water heater while we were there and we had cold showers. But the one staff bathroom (with shower) in the dining hall was unaffected and had hot water. The dining hall has TONS of tables and benches and an industrial grade kitchen. But no high chairs. We brought our own. There's a gas griddle, stove and ovens but they also have regular appliances like toasters, a microwave, and KitchenAid. There's huge mixing bowls, serving spoons but also potato peelers & apple slicers. I think the only thing we couldn't find was a potato masher. They have all the toilet paper & paper towels you need for the bathrooms and trash bags for all the huge trash bins. There's a dumpster behind the dining hall so you don't have to worry about hauling out your own trash. They have kayaks and other water activity supplies but they're ONLY for scouts. They have an archery range and shooting range but that is ONLY for scout sanctioned activities who paid the insurance. It's a liability issue. You can go shooting up Nip n Tuck Rd though down near Stanley or just into the hills just outside the camp boundaries if you'd like. There is a pool called the "plunge" that is actually a geothermal pool! It's warm and wonderful and we went swimming even though it was 50° out! You just are responsible for your own lifeguarding and safety if you use it. They also have streams and fishing nearby but you'll need a fishing license unless otherwise taken care of by the scout organization. It gets cold in the mornings and even snowed while we were there in mid-June. But it was also 80° with tons of mosquitoes. So bring an array of clothes that will accomodate the change in weather. They have bats in one of the buildings you can see late at night go hunting and they have many places you can have a fire, just obviously practice fire safety and put it out completely after finishing. Bring your own camp chairs, roasting sticks, paper products (bowls, plates, forks, etc.), towels and toiletries. But feel free to use the kitchen's industrial ice machine to fill up coolers and water bottles. And they have dish soap and scrubbies to wash all pots and pans. The kitchen and dining hall are NOT MOUSE PROOF, so you have to keep practically everything in the fridge or freezer or the mice will get to it. Store kitchenware upside down and covered in trash bags to help prevent mice surprises in a pot. And NO food in the bunk houses! There are other buildings and "cabins" but they're for the scouts who are "roughing it" more. They're pretty open to the elements and just have PVC showering and washing stations. They have a laundry room as well but DON'T wash sleeping bags or blankets! If you want to attend church there is Sawtooth Meditation Chapel on Wall St/Airport Rd in Stanley that has services at 9am and 5:30pm for LDS members & other times for other religions as well. I honestly was very pleasantly surprised with how nice everything was with the clean bright bathrooms and warm toasty bunk houses. Highly recommend for a family reunion!

I came here to staff a Wood Badge course in June. Excellent facility with a rich history and much character. It was exciting to see things up and running again after it being out of use for the past two years due to the pandemic. I highly recommend attending training courses here for any youth or adult Scouts. It would also be a great place to host a camp or family reunion. (Non-Scouting groups do have the option to rent/ reserve the facilities.)

Our family loves coming here! Kids catch (and release) frogs and snakes, hike, swim, run until the beautiful stars show and the Milky Way appears. Nice lodge, fantastic kitchen completely set up for large groups, warm pool, wonderful cabins scattered throughout. 4 wheeling heaven!
