Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama has served Tuscaloosa and nine surrounding counties for more than 50 years with after-school and summer programming for ages 6 to 18. Summer days run 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at several club locations, with academic enrichment, guest speakers, swimming trips and field trips to places like the McWane Science Center. Its Summer Food Service Program provides free breakfast and lunch to any child, and scholarships are offered for the summer program.
