Insane bullying problems. So many people were horrible to me, and staff members did literally nothing. Whenever I made any sort of mistake staff members would punish me and be very rude to me but when other people did things to me and bullied me, they just ignored it or let them off with a warning. The sort of kids that go to these places are not the kind of people anyone should want their kids around, especially if they have any sort of mental disorders like me. Kids there are especially discriminatory towards those with mental disorders such as autism. In addition, the staff members there have a lot of favoritism and only are nice to certain kids they like and are very strict with those that they dislike. The kids there are also very discriminatory towards people who identify as anything within the LGBTQ+ community. 1 out of 5 stars, absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND. Also, it seems that whoever reads the reviews only responds to positive reviews, which makes it obvious that they don't care about anything bad that happens in that horrible place.

Tanner Cordalis and Chase Landau Are Absolutely Incredible! I cannot say enough amazing things about Tanner Coordalis and Chase Landau at the Boys and Girls Club! These two go above and beyond every single day to make the club a fun, safe, and welcoming space for all the kids. Their energy, positivity, and dedication are unmatched. You can tell they genuinely care about every child who walks through the door. Tanner has such a natural way of connecting with the kids—he’s always encouraging, respectful, and full of fun ideas that keep everyone engaged. Chase brings so much enthusiasm and kindness to the table, creating an atmosphere where every child feels seen, supported, and valued. Together, they’re an incredible team who lead by example and make a real difference. The Boys and Girls Club is lucky to have them, and so are the families who rely on this program. Thank you, Tanner and Chase, for all that you do!

Back when my sister and I went here, she would get bullied everyday. When she was called names or physically hurt, the other kids would not care and the staff did not help her for months. This branch smelled absolutely horrid, and I would gag every time I walked in. There were also staffs that liked certain kids to an abnormal extent (asking for private information, telling them to sit on their laps). These workers did not care about any of the children there besides their favorites and would make it extremely obvious (even saying it out loud). They were always on their phones or talking to a small group instead of doing their job, but I'm pretty sure these workers are not there anymore. However, the staffs changed very often, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were just replaced with more incompetent staffs. Overall, having to go to the Boys & Girls Club here was one of the worst experiences of our lives. We dreaded going here and would beg our parents not to go. Every time we drive past this building, we cry a little.

Our kids have been members here for years now, and this is our second (non-consecutive) summer in their summer program. A few years ago when Mindy was in charge things were fantastic. The kids were younger, and they loved it. My son would talk about becoming an L.I.T. as a teenager. Now it's a few years later. The kids are older, and we were concerned with Donald in charge, and a lot of the staff changed over the years, there would be a problem. Now ... my god, is it going to be okay?! Good news, the staff is still fantastic, Donald is a motivated, friendly, wonderful leader, and the kids love him. No one bats an eye at the diabetic or dietary issues, and have been completely receptive to any accommodations he's needed (not many, really - he's pretty self-managed), and the programs for the summer have only improved over the years. The staff knows all the kids, and they treat each one like an individual.

My son has joined the B&G club for child care and distance learning. The staff are genuine and show great care for the kids. Grateful to have them as an option for school breaks now that we've returned to in person learning.
