The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area runs a licensed summer day camp for youth ages 5-12 at its Albany clubhouse (21 Delaware Avenue), serving Albany and Rensselaer counties. Campers get a supervised, activity-based day with low youth-to-counselor ratios and background-checked staff; breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included. Weekly fees run about $260 per child, with sliding-scale financial assistance available.

This establishment is far from being 5 stars. Don’t know who is teaching these associates on how to watch kids. Lesson one don’t sit in chairs ignoring situations. You can not be on your phones talking or texting your friends and watching kids does not work maybe there wouldn’t be a issue if you don’t have a phone do your job and there Wouldn’t be issues you could correct them before anything happens if I was management I would not tolerate phones on the job while watching young kids

The Albany Boys and Girls Club provides an important service to the Albany community. In particular, since the new executive director came on he has transformed the space and added additional programming so that the kids have educational and purposeful activities during their time at the Club. Boys and Girls Club provides a truly accessible and enriching option for Albany youth, and has made such a difference to the members, their families, and the broader community. I look forward to seeing the Club continue to grow and evolve under the new leadership, and expand their services even further into our community!

Great Organization. Boys & Girls Club of Albany do a fantastic job with the kids of Albany. Starting September 29th 2014 they will also be feeding top notch dinners everyday to over 500 kids.
