Both of my children attended this program over the summer, and I cannot say enough amazing things about it. Hands down, this is the best childcare facility they have ever attended! My kids were thrilled to go every single day and were genuinely disappointed that it wasn’t open on the weekends because they wanted to be there all the time. My son usually struggles with making friends, so seeing the confidence and happiness this program brought out in him meant the world to me. He told me that he considered every single child in his classroom a friend, which speaks volumes about the welcoming, supportive environment. I would love to give a huge shoutout to the incredible staff in the Purple and Orange rooms. My children came home every day raving about how kind and fun Miss Kylee and Miss Kat are, how much they loved STEM activities, and how exciting it was to beat the staff at Gaga ball! If our school district were close enough to bus to this location, my children would absolutely be enrolled for the school year without hesitation. We are so grateful for this program and the unforgettable experience it gave our family. Shoutout to Marcy for being such a great director, I am sure the successor is doing an incredible job because of the training they were given by Miss Marcy.

I can't say enough nice things about the Boys & Girls Clubs of Spokane County, Northtown location. My son is autistic and required a full time aide to help him navigate social settings at summer camp. We checked with another very well known camp in the area who refused us services based on my son's documented disability which required the aid to accompany him. Not only did the Boys & Girl's club make it happen, but they were excited to work with us to ensure my son was able to participate in a normal experience that other children and families may take for granted. They were also open to experimenting with us so they might be able to do it again in the future with another family. I worked with the CEO, COO, and the Program Manager/Club Director who were receptive and genuinely invested in helping us. As some have pointed out, the facility is in need of updates but the camp is also very affordable. It seems they do everything they can to keep the cost as low as possible and affordable for families. We found the staff to be kind, generous, and truly interested in helping my son have a good summer camp experience. I wish they recived the attention (and financial support) they deserve. Please consider supporting this group instead of others like Camp Fire, who has a flashy website and what appears to be a larger budget for their facilities and advertising. They claim they are inclusive but they also refuse to serve disabled children, even when accomodation is provided at no cost to the organization. It is illegal, discriminatory and frankly ugly behavior. Our children and communities deserve better.

As a working mom many years ago, I struggled to find safe and affordable care for my two children. This became even more challenging as they entered school. The standard daycare environment was no longer well suited to their needs. A friend told me about Boys & Girls Club and we decided to give it a try. I am so grateful we did! Both my son and my daughter really loved it. The young people that worked there were enthusiastic about their jobs and truly cared about the children. It showed in everything they did. This made Boys & Girls Club a happy and fun place. The kids were eager to go there every day and I was grateful to know that they were in a nurturing and safe environment with people that really cared about them. It gave me peace of mind and it made all the difference for our family. Boys & Girls Club offers a safe, fun, and affordable childcare option. Colville is truly blessed to have this organization available locally.

My grandson who is an incoming kindergartener goes to the Northtown Club for the summer. He was really nervous at first, but the workers gave him the attention he needed to be more comfortable. It's an old building but for the price and the quality of care they gave my grandson, don't judge a book by it's cover.

I was super hopeful that my son would be able to spend some time during the summer here, but upon looking at it I lost interest almost immediately. It is absolutely filthy, torn chairs fixed with duct tape, hand prints smeared all over the glass doors, stains all over the carpets, class rooms are dark and dingy, the back area where the kids go play is filled with dead grass and weeds. Really needs some major help. Staff don't seem to excited either.
