My girls attend the boys and girls club on positive place. The staff is very involved with the children. My girls love it! They go on summer and now after school. I am very thankful for them
My kids have been going there for years and these guys are amazing!! Very trustworthy counselors and the kids take tons of field trips so it's always a great experience for them. If we did not move to Jefferson they would continue to go there
My children attend the summer program. I have a 11 year old straight a student who attends who said there's a teacher there who bullies other teachers and students including my son. Today he came home and told me they watched a horror movie called us. I never Hurd of it so I looked it up it's rated R . We do not allow our children to watch anything over there age rating.also I thought they were not allowed to show anything over a pg rating. My son also came to me saying the same bully teacher told the whole class that there's only one kid in this class he sees succeding in life. That's completely uncalled for. They also have a class where the teacher shown them a video clip on YouTube about wet dreams. Which was pretty graphic for 4th and 5th graders. Also shown by the same bully teacher. Not to mention the fights at this place. The field trips are pretty nice but in all honesty that's the only good part about it. My kids will not attend next summer. This program was nothing like I thought it would be.
Kids love to be here and have a good time with their peers. Staff for the most part seem to enjoy what they do helping the kids grow in a healthy environment
